Founded in 1980 by Mac Smith, Airbourne Aviation is the longest running flight school in England. In 2023, Mac’s friend and fellow passionate aviator Cliff Hawkins took over the school, bringing with him new investment and ideas to further propel the school’s status as the most premier and trusted flight school in the country.

We offer full in-house NPPL(A) microlight training, including all exams and skills tests.
